The unites states was justified in droping the atomic bomb because Americans ended a war that was horrible and that left families destroyed and killed a lot of people. The United States dropped the bomb to save american lives. Another reason they did it because they may wanted a revenge for the attack of Japan on Pearl Harbor and to demostrate its power to the Soviet Union.
